I had hoped to call my blog "The Dog's Breakfast," but that name was long since taken. But in that spirit "The Breakfast" offers a little of this and a little of that, not all of it pretty, some of it poorly chewed. These are papers, posts, stories, correspondence, musings, and links to ideas that interest or amuse me.

Unheard Cuts

Been listening to Krista Tippett's unedited, unproduced interviews for On Being...


The production values for each episode of On Being are wonderful, but the raw material is frequently much more interesting. Three recent episodes form another Eclectic Breakfast jelly bean recipe.  It's not immediately obvious that the topics of physics, Exodus, and suicide go together, but they do.
