Just finished Sean Carroll's Making of the Fittest It's a very concise yet appropriately detailed study of the 3 billion year history of the DNA that makes us and other life on the planet what we are. As mentioned in an earlier post Carroll's Endless Forms Most Beautiful is an another excellent book for people interested in the science that undergirds our physical existence. Endless Forms is also available in an mp3 on CD format at your usual online booksellers or at places like audible.com for your audio enjoyment.
