Harold Camping

Lowering the bar for halfwits, nitwits, dipsticks, and whackaloons the world over...

Wrong in 1994, wrong in 2011.

In the immortal words of Bugs Bunny "What a maroon!"

By the way, Harold, if the last 1700 years proves anything it is that the Bible guarantees nothing.

  1. Nope, it definitely guarantees somethings.
    Like death.
"... it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment" (Heb. 9:27).

But otherwise, I agree. If I had a dollar for every yahoo in history who tried to predict the Rapture with their special "codes" and other nonsense, I'd be a pretty rich boy.

And if people had learned after the 1st several, we wouldn't have these men in black suits knocking on our doors Saturday mornings, or invisible underwear people.

Ok... I take it back, the invisible underwear people are probably a good result of all that, because that's just hilarious.
